Junior incumbrances; not affected by admeasurement. Where a portion of the property is admeasured and laid off to the plaintiff as her dower, a lien which is inferior to the plaintiff's right of dower attaches, during the life of the plaintiff, to the residue, or to the portion or share of the residue which was subject to it, as if the portion laid off to the plaintiff had not been a part of the property.
